ILoveMyBaker 8 months agoExcellent! I won't buy the overpriced package stuff any longer. I used both smoked paprika and regular paprika (1/2 of the full measurement each) to add a little more complexity. My family devoured it! I will never need those little packages any longer. Thank you for sharing your recipe.
moomasters 1 year agoWe've always used McCormick and with a half tsp each of salt, cayenne, black pepper and sugar (helps caramelize to the meat ;) ) this is right on par with the package. I've been using this recipe for well over a year now and refuse to go back to the packaged stuff!

SenseiHeidi 1 year agoI don't know what recipe the other reviewers have been going off of -this recipe is horrible! There is no salt in the recipe. You need at least 1/2 teaspoon salt per pound of meat. The balance of spices is also off, it tastes wrong and overly of Paprika and cumin!
