Melt butter over medium heat, add Onion and Garlic - cook until soft and translucent (about 5 minutes).
Add Mustard and Red Pepper flakes - cook about 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add remaining ingredients
Bring to simmer, cook 10 minutes over medium low heat.
Cover - refrigerate for up to 3 days
Best homemade BBQ sauce I have ever tasted. I use this on Ribs, Chicken, burgers and just about everything. Freezes well.
