A healthy family meal that can be served with a delicious salad
First you should rinse of the halibut in cold water NOT hot water. Then dry the steaks. Combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ginger, sesame oil, sherry, onions and garlic in a saucepan. Bring the sauce to a boil then turn down the heat and simmer the sauce for 5 minutes. Strain the sauce. Put the steaks in a deep set pan and put the sauce over it and but in the fridge for 15 minutes. Take the steaks out of the pan and drain the sauce. Spray a pan with nonstick vegetable oil. Put in the broiler for 8 to 10 minutes. Halfway through flip the steaks over so they can cook evenly. After the steaks are cooked garnish them with the green onions. Remember you can also try this over a bed of greens!
