An awesome dish for a crowd or just for your family!

"This was a great recipe. I modified it a little bit. I sautéed the onion and fresh white mushrooms before I added all the other ingredients. I also subed a can of cream of mushroom soup for I cup of the chicken broth. I also subed half and half for part of the milk. I also chopped fresh parsley and added it to the cheese I sprinkled on top. And, I used a rotisserie chicken."

Ingredients

1 package spagetti noodles
2 c chicken broth
2 c milk
1/4 c Butter
4 tbls cream cheese
1/2 c mozzarella or monteray cheese
2 c chicken or Turkey; diced
1 c black olives; diced
1 small onion; diced
1 can mushrooms; diced
1/2 c Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp pepper
2 tsp garlic powder

Preparation

Cook spaghetti as usual.

Mix broth, milk, butter, cream cheese and spices- bring to a boil. Gradually add flour- bring to a boil for a while then add meat, olives, onion and mushroom. Let simmer for a bit.

In a 13x9 in pan put noodles then cover with the sauce. Mix all together then top with shredded cheese. Sprinkle w/extra garlic powder.

Bake at 350 for about 30 min or until bubbly.

I added a few things: sub: half and half for 1 cup of milk. Sub: I can cream mushroom soup for 1 cup chicken broth. Add fresh chopped parsley to the monterey cheese on the top. Really delicious! Also, skipped the salt cause I was worried with my changes it might end up TO salty, maybe half of what the recipe called for would have been nice. photo by Jenzy520 Jenzy520

Everone in the family loved this. The only thing I changed was to add some parmesan cheese yummy!

I used angel hair pasta and it didn't end up cooking all the way next time I think I will pre cook half way the pasta. The flavor was amazing tho4
