1 c White onions; chopped
1 c Green pepper; diced
1 c Green onion; chopped, with
16 oz Hominy; canned
1 tb Sugar
2 tb Cumin powder
1/4 c Jalapeno; seeded and chopped
32 oz Blackeyed peas; canned
2 tb Black pepper; coarsely
1 c Fresh tomato; chopped
1/2 c Cilantro; finely chopped
16 oz Picante sauce; medium or hot
1 tb Salt

Original recipe makes 12 servings
