Suggest a better description1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. In a bowl cream shortening & sugar until fluffy.
3. Add eggs, milk, and mashed bananas.
3. Sift flour in a separate bowl and add baking soda and salt.
4. Add flour mixture to banana mixture and blend well.
5. Fold in chopped walnuts (and chocolate chips) if desired.
6. Pour into greased and floured bread pan and bake 45min-1 hour. (Test with a knife).
7. Remove from Bread pan and let cool on baking rack.
