Ready in 45 minutes
These look like bakery cookies!
Preheat your oven to 325? Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Sift together flour, baking soda & salt; set aside.
In medium bowl, cream together the melted butter and sugars until well blended. Beat in vanilla, egg and egg yolk until light & creamy.
Mix in the sifted ingredients until just blended. Fold in chocolate chips by hand.
Drop dough onto cookie sheets (approx 1/4 cup), about 3 inches apart.
Bake for 15-17 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on baking sheets for a couple minutes before moving to wire cooling rack. I place a tea towel over the wire racks and put the cookies on top of the towel. The cookies seem to stay softer this way.

mandamontana7 3y agoI just made these and they are THE BEST BIG AWESOME CC COOKIES EVER!!!!!!!!!!! A+ 100% Absolutely perfect with the little bit of crunchy on the edges, and soft & chewy in the middle. I will never use another cc cookie recipe ever!!!

bcarnell507 3y agoI absolutely love this recipe. Just as its written. The dough itself is amazing. I could happily eat it without baking it. And the baked cookies are perfectly chocolaty and delicious.
