Top-ranked recipe named "The World's Moistest Parmesan Crusted Baked Chicken"
You won't believe the "special" properties that Mayo offers....
"I used part Parmesan, part provolone for the cheese because I didn't have 1/4 a cup of Parmesan, but it turned out fantastically! I also didn't have Italian bread crumbs either, so I used Panko breadcrumbs with a combination of Italian seasonings I had on hand. The extra fat and stuff from the mayo will go to the bottom of the pan, so only put the mayo and bread crumbs on top to keep it from getting soggy, or use a metal rack to keep the drippings away from the chicken. 1. Preheat oven to 425
2. Combine mayonnaise with cheese in medium bowl.
3. Arrange chicken on baking sheet. Evenly top with mayonnaise mixture, then sprinkle with bread crumbs.
4. Bake 20 minutes or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. **if you have not flattened your chicken breast prior to this, you will need to cook it about 35-40 minutes total, thicker breasts take longer to cook**
**I will usually sprinkle a little bit of italian seasoned bread crumbs on top of the mayo, then sprinkle some panko on top of that, it really makes a nice crunch**
