Kentucky Derby
Preheat oven to 325F.
Spread pecans on large pan. Bake 10 minutes.
Remove, add butter and stir till coated.
Sprinkle salt on evenly and stir.
Lower temperature to 250F and bake 20-30 minutes more. Stir twice more while baking.
Test for doneness at 15 minutes - remember nuts continue to cook when taken from oven so don't over cook them.
