I don't remember who Tom was but I liked this sauce enough to ask him for it.
Brown shallots in butter. Add sliced mushrooms and saute for a few minutes. Add the wine, lemon juice, and herbs. Simmer for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
