Ingredients

8 ounces Dreamfield's pasta; -any shape
12 ounces tuna; -drained
1 10.75-oz can Cream of chicken and mushroom soup
2 cups Cheddar cheese; shredded
8 ounces mushrooms stems and pieces; drained

Original recipe makes 6

Servings  

Preparation

Cook macaroni in salted water until tender, about 12 minutes.

Pour into colander; let stand until completely drained.

Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350F.

Return macaroni to saucepan.

Stir in tuna, soup, mushrooms and 1 1/2 cups of cheese.

Turn into a 9" square pan.

Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese topping is starting to brown and casserole is hot and bubbly.

I was at home starving on a Sunday afternoon. It was a rainy, lazy day. The plan was to head to the grocery store but the rain kept me from going and I knew I couldn't go hungry. I had all the ingredients in my house! It was quick and tastes delicious.

Great recipe and so easy. I doubled the recipe as it only made 6 servings. The family loved it. I added a tablespoon of butter and salt and pepper for a little flavor. I will definitely make this again.

Had home canned tuna from a friend so I basically doubled the recipe. I added about 1/2 cup milk for creaminess and added bread crumbs on top for texture. Also added about 1.5 cups frozen peas. It turned out great! I added it to my faves and will make it again!
