This was a simple healthy turkey burger experiment with what little I had on hand that turned out very good that I would make again for sure! They have just the right amount of zest. Add all your favorite burger condiments and enjoy! It is super easy to make, has 24 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber per serving!
I used a pastry blender to chop up the chickpeas and mix them in with the ground turkey. Combine all the other ingredients with the mixture and form into 8 patties. I broiled them on both sides on a cookie cooling rack placed on top of a cookie sheet for a 5+ minutes, but you could grill them or prepare them how you like. Add cheese or condiments with your favorite bread and enjoy!
Pay attention to how your oven broils or how your grill cooks and adjust the time as needed.
