1 12-oz pkg semisweet chocolate
1 1/4 c Pecan halves
28 Caramels; unwrapped
2 tb Whipping cream

Original recipe makes 1



Micro chocolate in a glass bowl at high for 1 1/2 min, stirring after 1 min. Stir until smooth; cool until slightly thickened. Drop chocolate by tbsp onto a wax paper- lined baking sheet, shaping into 16 (1 1/2 in. ) circles; Reserve remaining chocolate. Arrange 4 pecans over each circle; chill till firm. Place caramel and whipped cream in a glass bowl. Micro at high 2 mins or until caramel melts; stir after 1 min. Let stand 4 min or until slightly thickened. Spoon caramel evenly over pecans. Microwave remaining chocolate 1 min, stirring after 30 seconds; quickly spread chocolate over caramel mixture. Refrig until firm. Delicious! So much better than store bought, especially if you toast the pecans first!

Very easy to make. Just hard to get uniform. Didn't need all 28 caramels. Yummy!
