Suggest a better descriptionIn a large skillet; cook and crumble meat with onions in a skillet, do not drain. While the meat is cooking, shred the cabbage and set aside. Peel carrots and chop small or shred.
Combine garlic, ginger, pepper and sesame oil, and soy sauce in a bowl and stir to combine. Add more oil if needed and set aside.
Add cabbage and carrots to ground meat and cook over high 3-4 minutes. Add soy sauce mixture and stir well.
Cook 5 to 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
