Velveeta Fudge

Never-Fail Fudge, Surprisingly Delicious!!


1 lb Velveeta Cheese (secret ingredient)
1 lb Butter (the real thing)
1 cup Cocoa
1 tablespoon Vanilla
4 lbs Powdered sugar
3 cups Pecans or Walnuts, chopped

Original recipe makes 4 Servings



Melt the cheese and butter together in a double boiler or over low heat. Stir often to keep from scorching. Sift the cocoa and powdered sugar -- NO LUMPS. Mix sugar-cocoa mixture into the melted mixture and blend thoroughly (use hands). Add nuts and vanilla; blend again. Press ito (2) 9" x 13" pans. Yields 7 pounds. Cut into very small pieces, VERY RICH! Freezes very well.

This fudge is fantastic! I was a bit skeptical when I noticed that velveeta was an ingredient, but the outcome is delicious! Thanks for a great recipe.
