2 12-oz can Water chestnuts; drained
1 pound Bacon; halved
10 ounces Soy sauce

Original recipe makes 8



Marinate water chestnuts in soy sauce 6-8 hours or overnight. Wrap each chestnut with ? slice bacon. Secure with toothpicks. Arrange on large baking sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes or until bacon is slightly crispy and evenly browned.

Now this sure was innovative but darned if you didnt say how hot to put the oven. I put it at 400 and watched them real close and stirred them up all the time so they came out all right. You should put a temperature though.
