White spicy Chili
"This was awesome! My 2 & 4-year-olds it was too hot, but my 6 and 8 year old LOVED it. I'm serious...so much flavor!!! I double the recipe because I had guests over, but the only thing I didn't double was the jalapinos, one can was perfect :)
Was actually a fast meal to put together because it didn't take brewing in the pot for a long time :)
Definately a keeper on our regular meal circuit!"
Saute onions and garlic in oil. In bowl, lightly oil chicken and add half of the spices. When chicken is coated, add to garlic and onions. While chicken is cooking put beans, broth and green chilies in a pot on high heat. When chicken is cooked, add it to the beans and add the rest of the spices. Bring to a boil and add sour cream and whipping cream; (Constantly stirring until sour cream and whipping cream is well blended. Taste and tweek if necessary.

Jackiechan042003 11 month agoVery flavorful. Tasted like a Mexican soup which I definitely liked! I had cut cayenne in half but still found it a smidge to spicy that I couldn't finish my bowl. I served wheat flour tortillas on the side to help cool down the spices from the soup. Very good, will make again with some tweaking
TarynL77 12 months agoThis recipe is very flavorful, and perfect if you're on a budget and need to stretch a meal out over a few days. Personally, I would add a few more cans of beans, and cut the cayenne pepper way back to half tsp (for the little tykes)

Ilimab 2 years agoI liked it. I should have read the comments before I made it though. Not kid friendly.
Mfickett 2 years agoOverall I felt this recipe was very tasty. Although I made a few small adjustments. I used two cans of White Northern beans and one can of white lima beans. I also topped each bowl with srhiracha chili sauce, sour cream, cheese and chives.
jobarr77 2 years agoChanged somethings, however love it!
justinblake 2 years agonot kid friendly a little too much cumin cut other than that it was great, next time i make it i will reduce the cayenne
Johnnyjackflach 3 years agoGreat recipe and I use left over turkey in my crock pot, had to keep it on high for 5 hours to soften beans. Should have pre-soak bean. Will be on my winter cooking list.
frogginhappy 3 years agothis is amazing! i did leave out the cream and added the sour cream to each bowl. My whole family like it.
