An easy peanut brittle type recipe
Place candy canes in a plastic bag and hammer into 1/4-inch chunks or smaller. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. Combine candy cane chunks with chocolate (add peppermint flavoring at this point if desired.)
Pour mixture onto a cookie sheet layered with parchment or waxed paper and place in the refrigerator for 45 minutes or until firm. Remove from cookie sheet and break into pieces (like peanut brittle.)

Neilette 3y agoEasy to prepare and a delicious festive gift for the holidays! Using the microwave was an easy no-fail way to melt the chocolate.
ladybugkatiebug 3y agoI love peppermint bark and this recipe is delicious
Saintly 3y agoI make this each year. Last year I added some globs of melted chocolate semi-sweet chips & dragged a knife through it for a beautiful feathered look. So good! I don't add the flavouring & find white chocolate chips extremely difficult to work with.

sgrishka 7y agoThis was a very good, kid friendly recipe. It was extremely easy to make and used very few ingredients. My young nieces were exceedingly happy with both the great appearance and the tasty results that they were able to achieve.
TifDaSplif 7y agoIf you’re not crazy about white chocolate you can substitute with vanilla baking chips. [I posted this recipe.]
