White Chocolate-Peppermint Jumble(crock pot candy)

This is a super easy way to fill a cookie tin for a gift. A particularly great teacher gift.


16oz package Vanilla bark coating (candy coating)
12oz package White chocolate morsels
6oz package White chocolate baking squares
3 Tablespoons Shortening
16oz package Pretzel nuggets-Snyder's of Hanover Sourdough Nugg
8oz package Animal Crackers
1 Cup Hard peppermint candy or candy canes; crushed

Original recipe makes 80 Servings



Combine first 4 ingredients in slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 1 1/2 hours or until vanilla chocolates are very soft. Stir until smooth. Stir in pretzels, crackers and candy. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto wax paper and let stand for 1 hour. Or pour onto wax paper and let it stand for one hour. Then break into pieces similar to peppermint bark.

Try to keep the white chocolate chips off the direct heat. They will burn the easiest. Maybe try adding them after the other two chocolates have melted. The chips will take a little effort to melt and smoosh until it is all creamy.
