sauce for pasta with canned clams


1/4 cup Butter
1 clove Garlic; chopped finely
2 tablespoons Flour
2 cups Clam juice; fresh or canned
1/4 cup Parsley; chopped
1 1/2 teapoons Dried thyme
2 cups Clams; mince fresh or canned

In a suarcepan heat the butter, add the garlic and cook one minue over moderate heat. With a wire whisk in the flour. Add the clam joice, while stirring

Add the parsley, slat, epper and thyme and simmer gently ten minutes. Add the minced clams and heat through. Serve over linguine or spahetti.
