Wild rice with wild mushrooms. Can omit mushrooms if there is a dislike, but finely chopping them hides them and also adds a earthy taste, the haters will never know.
Take mushrooms and garlic and finely chop (or use food processor). Add olive oil to hot pot, add salt and pepper to hot oil to infuse oil, then add mushrooms and saute till fragrant and soften. Add rice and saute till nutty smell, lighter colored rice is toasted. Add liquid of choice and cook per directions included with rice.
