A winter warmer for those cool night by the fire
Wash and roughly slice oranges, including skins. Add all ingredients to a large pot and heat. DO NOT BOIL. Once the wine is hot and beginning to steam remove from heat and allow to cool. Once cool return to heat and rewarm to taste.
The Cointreau can be substituted with regular Brandy. For a more intense flavor allow to cool and place in the fridge overnight.
Heat before serving.
Taste while heating and fine tune to the spices to your own preference.
