"This goes well with Turkey and is also a good take-along for pot luck dinners."
"Excellent in every sense, generous serving casserole-do not hesitate a moment-a recipe box keeper! Can even make rice a day/two ahead to save time then just grab it to assemble casserole. For cheese, we substituted Tostito Salsa Con Queso cheese/in jar which added a very subtle wonderful flavor (was on sale vs Cheese Whiz which is pricey). With leftovers, we'll add chicken chunks and tomatoes, then wrap in flour tortillas. So many possibilities w/this casserole, can easily adapt to your preferences.
Cook broccoli and rice; combine with all other ingredients. Place in buttered 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
This has been a family favorite for years.

1Baker2Baker 3y agoI am looking for ways to sneak in vegetables, this was not a hit in our house. Not too good the next day, most of it got tossed. Just the basics all mixed together.
HeatherC717 3y agoI made this last year for Thanksgiving. Making it Again this year. It's one of my favorites. I don't use celery. Instead I use water chestnuts!
