Sauteed mushrooms - great as a side dish or over a grilled steak.


Are you making this? 
8 ounces Mushrooms; (fresh, raw, washed and sliced - can use more for more servings)
2 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic; finely chopped
1/4 ea Onion; finely chopped
1 teaspoon Shallot; finely chopped
2 teaspoons Lemon juice
2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
3 tablespoons Cooking sherry; (or white or red wine, or brandy/cognac)
1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon Pepper; adjust to taste
1/2 teaspoon Salt; adjust to taste

Melt Butter in skillet set to medium high

Add all other ingredients except mushrooms and sautee while stirring until onions start to become translucent

Add mushrooms and sautee while stirring until all the liquid in the pan has cooked off the ingredients start to caramelize slightly (about 15 minutes)
