Soft easy yeast rolls

"Very easy recipe! My recipe made 24 small rolls and I topped them with butter as soon as they came out of the oven. I've always had trouble working with yeast and these didn't rise much, but tasted good! "

Ingredients

1 cup water
2 tablespoons butter; softened
1 egg
3 1/4 cup Flour
1/4 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
3 teaspoons Yeast

Preparation

In a large mixing bowl add yeast to warm water and stir. Add butter, salt, sugar and eggs to mixture. Let sit for 10 minutes. Using a whisk stir ingredients. Add flour and mix/knead into a ball of dough. Add flour as need to create a dough that is not sticky but still moist. Place dough into a lightly oiled bowl and cover. Let rise 1 hour. Knock down dough and knead briefly. Divide into 3 equal parts and let rise 10 minutes. Divide each section into four pieces and shape into 12 rolls. Place rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes.
