This is a great way to serve eggs, sausage, hash browns and rolls all at the same time and it tastes great too!

1 lb mild italian pork sausage
1 pkg crescent rolls; butter-flavor
1 cup hash browns; thawed, seasoned shredded
1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese; shredded
5 whole Eggs
0.25 cup milk
2 tablespoon Parmesan cheese; grated
0.5 tsp Salt
0.125 tsp Pepper

Original recipe makes 6 Servings

Cook the sausage in a skillet until browned; drain off fat.

Seperate crescent roll dough into 8 triangles.

Place them on an ungreased 12-inch pizza pan, with points facing towards center. Press onto bottom and up the sides of the pan to form crust; seal perforations.

Spoon cooked sausage over the crust. Sprinkle the thawed seasoned hash browns over the sausage and top with shredded colby-jack cheese.

In a bowl, beat together the milk, eggs, salt and pepper and pour into crust.

Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over all. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 25-30 minutes.

I was so excited to try this for my family. My husband thought it was okay, but my picky teen boys didn't like it. I had used real potatoes & shredded them (patted off the water), and they didn't like the "hash browns". I did not try it myself.

Just as the title says, this is a yummy breakfast pizza. I enjoyed it very much and so did the kids. The recipe is very easy to make. I only had one problem; I made mine on my pizza stone. When I poured the egg mixture it started to run over the edge onto the floor. I stopped the problem by rolling up the edges of the pizza. So, a pizza pan with edges would be the best to use. ;) We will definitely make this again.

I must appologize in a previous comment I meant to say guryere cheese not sharp Cheddar, sorry, I may have misspelled the cheese type. Reverend Ken J. Gertner

I already said it was a great recipe, but adding salsa makes it just a little better also, and I used sharp Cheddar for a sufferance. Thanks, Reverend Ken J. Gertner
