A pineapple glaze that tastes truly Hawaiian flavors this chicken while it bakes by itself in the oven. Great with rice, a green vegetable, and a salad of crisp greens.
"I made this last weekend and am making it again tonight. This recipe will be come a regular in my household. I added a fresh mango and a bit of Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce to give it a little heat. The sauce is delicious! My husband is a vegetarian, so we also prepare his veggie chik patties with the sauce. I plan to try the sauce on slow baked baby back ribs as well."
Preheat oven to 375?. In an ungreased 9-inch square baking pan, place chicken breasts in a single layer. Brush with melted butter; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 375? for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare glaze by combining all the ingredients together and mixing well. Pour over chicken. Return to oven and continue baking 30 to 40 minutes, basting occasionally until deep golden brown and tender.
To prepare with:
Thighs: After glazing bake 20 to 30 minutes.
Drumsticks: After glazing bake 20 to 30 minutes
Wings: After glazing bake 10 to 20 minutes

moonphace 1y agoLOVE IT!!! chicken comes out so tender & full of amazing flavor! I substituted spicy brown mustard & cayenne pepper for a nice kick. Thanks for sharing!

SuzyCathey 2y agoVery good!! Chicken was tender. I added less sugar & mustard as reviews said but I think I'll make it exact next time. I think it would taste even better a little sweeter & with more mustard.
MokenaMom 2y agoTo clarify my review I baked the thighs 20 minutes then added glaze with another 30 minutes in the oven. My husband had three helpings. We did have white rice with green peppers and onions diced.

keoni78 2y agoIt was good, but I felt the mustard drowned out some of the other flavors. Next time I'll add a little less or maybe a different type and see what happens.
