Sweet And Nutty Broccoli Salad Ingredients

Dressing: Salad:
1 1/2 c Mayonnaise 2 Bunches broccoli (tips only)
2 tb Wine vinegar 1 Red onion, chopped
1 tb Dijon mustard 1 c Sunflower seeds or pine nuts
3 tb Honey 1/4 lb Bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 c Raisins

Instructions for Sweet And Nutty Broccoli Salad

To make dressing, combine mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard and honey. Add raisins and let stand for at least 30 minutes. The flavors blend even better if allowed to stand, refrigerated, overnight. Just before serving, combine salad ingredients; toss with dressing, so that dressing lightly coats broccoli, saving any extra dressing for another use. I reduced mayo from 1.5 cups to 1 and honey from 3 tablespoons to 1 to make less dressing and make it more tangy and less sweet.

Good, tangy suite flavor. Would go well with grilled steak.

Very good recipe. I would use 1/2 C. sweet onion, and 1/2 C. sunflower seeds. 1 Tb. more honey.
