A La King

Meaning “In the style of the King”. Most common is chicken a la king- chicken in supreme sauce with red and green peppers. In general, however, it's a dish of diced food (usually chicken or turkey) in a rich cream sauce containing mushrooms, pimientos, green peppers and sometimes sherry.
