Ambrosia

A mixed drink made by shaking cognac, brandy, cointreau or raspberry syrup with crushed ice. The mixture is strained into a glass and topped off with cold champagne. The term can also refer to a dessert of chilled fruit, often oranges and bananas, mixed with coconut. This mix is sometimes served as a salad.
