Suggest a better descriptionFrom: mikeace@ix.netcom.com (Robyn Walton) Date: 28 Nov 1995 07:51:14 -0700 Beat eggs until light and foamy. Add sugar gradually until all is used, beating throughout. Add lemon extract. Continue beating. Mix flour, baking powder and salt and sift over egg mixture, folding in lightly. Pour into slightly greased pan or a pan sprayed with a food release. Steam for 20 minutes. Before serving, sift powdered sugar over cake. COMMENTARY: In steaming foods, condensed steam can be prevented from dripping into the item being steamed by placing a dish cloth under the lid.
