A slow cooker, also known as a Crock-Pot or Slo-Cooker is a countertop electrical cooking appliance that is used to cook food very slowly.  It is used for unattended cooking.

What can you make in your slow cooker?  Spaghetti and pasta sauces work well, as do stews, soups and chilis. 

It's an easy way to cook -- we recommend you choose recipes that are made for low-and-slow cooking over a long period, or use your slow cooker to keep items warm at serving time.
