They were probably doing some upgrades or something.  I will let you know when I try it.  I know the darker meat is moister and I like it, but I have a picky, picky bunch at home to try and please!

Re: chickenhttp://www.bigoven.com/groups.aspxOk.  It seems to be working for me today.  Not sure what was up yesterday.

I imagine you can use breast strips, but would need to adjust the cooking time.  I find bone-in seems to keep the chicken moister when baking.

Let me know how they turn out.  I might be trying this on myself.

Re: chickenhttp://www.bigoven.com/groups.aspxThanks for posting.  It look good and easy.  I guess you could also use breast strips?  My family prefers white meat.

It doesn't take much time at all.  Uncle Don's trick is not to drain the cans. PLUS it's really good. It makes a big pot and this weather is a great time to try it. Freezes well, too. Hope you enjoy.

I tried it recently adding chicken stock instead of the juice from the kidney beans, but it wan't much different...

Re: Hi I'm Suehttp://www.bigoven.com/groups.aspxHi Sue!  I
saw a posting in the Diabetic group from someone who is cooking for Crohn's sufferers, who are also wheat gluten free.  You have something in common.  Maybe you can start a "wheat free" group and collect a bunch of wheat free recipes in your new group's corral.  Hopefully, they'll all be easy, and you can add them all to "Lazy Chefs", also. - ReneeM]]>

Welcome to the group!!  No need to be shy here.... we're very friendly!!

Having to create wheat free foods is a challenge, that's for sure, but there seems to be more and more information and recipes available with each passing day.

Glad to have you here.
