Diane, You just keep at it. That's more than another 1/2 pound gone forever, and you're almost there. Just remember that the scale is a guide, and nothing more. If it's going in the right direction (mine isn't right now), that's all you need to know. Anne

What I do is eat every last point available to me. My daily points, activity points and all 35 weekly allowance points. One thing I have to work on is lowering my carbs and sodium and increasing my protein. I get the most bang for the buck (points). I have to enjoy a meal so I don't feel deprived. I keep well stocked up on 100 calorie snacks too. Can't forget WATER, WATER, and more WATER!
Al, this particular group is doing the Weight Watchers program. You can find out more about their system at http://www.weightwatchers.com/ 25 pounds is sometimes harder to lose than 200 pounds. Your body tends to want to hold onto every ounce it can, but no matter what plan you follow, if you cut down on calories (there are 3500 to a pound), and if you up the exercise/movement, it will come off. Just plan on it being a slow go, but every ounce off puts you closer to your goal. What I like to remind people is that even just 1/2 pound a week is 26 pounds in a year, and that year is going to go by, whether you lose the weight or not. We are entering a very difficult time to try and lose weight, what with all the holidays approaching, but even that can be managed. Just enjoy the company, stick to a rational plan for eating, and don't let anyone deter you by telling you, "but it's a holiday. You shouldn't worry about losing weight." The trick is to do it for YOU, and nobody else, and if you want it badly enough, it will happen. Oh..... and drink lots of water. It not only helps you to feel fuller, it really does help with weight loss. And finally, come here and post often. We'll be here to help. Anne
