Subject: Professionally-printed books -- coming soon

We're pleased to announce that in a matter of weeks, you should be able to order your own professionally-printed and bound books from BigOven.com as well as the desktop software starting at less than $40 apiece, including shipping.  We'll have much more to say about this great cookbook-printing service when it goes live, but if you'd like us to let you know when it launches, please pre-register here.  Thanks, and happy cooking!

Is there a way to create sections in the cookbook (e.g., Main Dishes, Desserts, etc.) rather than having all the recipes just listed alphabetically?

Not yet fully supported by our publishing partner, but we've got this on deck for later this year.

Just one additional note -- it's probably obvious, but note that you currently can order the recipes in whatever way you'd like -- so you can create a group for appetizers first, salads, second, etc. -- it's just the actual chapter heading pages that are not yet supported.   We completely agree this will be a valuable addition to printing and it's in the work queue for release when supported by the printing partner.  Thanks!

I've been playing with this today and I find it very intriguing.  If I can find enough time to get everything organized, I'll probably order a book.  In the meantime though, I'd love to hear feedback from anyone who does get a book.  I agree that it would be nice to have the sections and maybe some additional options for the cover as well.    I do really like the dedication page.  Seems that there are tradeoffs between this and the other cookbook publishing site I've been looking at - if only we could have the best of both!
