You're not dumb, and there's no dumb questions, other than those that aren't asked.

You can upload recipes to the site easily if they're already in your big oven software.  Go to the recipe box you have stored the recipe in. There's a button on top that says "post recipe".  Just highlight and open the recipe you want to post and click that button and follow any instructions.  

You won't have to retype them to do that.
