while in italy, i had a croissant that filled with some sort of sweet pudding and topped with chocolate. does anyone happen to have a recipe for these?
Being that it was from Italy I would buy some puff pastry. Cut it into triangles. and place some goat cheese mixed with powder sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, and lemon. Adjust these flavours to your liking. role the triangles and shape like croissants. let them proof. egg wash, cook. when they cool you will want to drizzle some chocolate ganach over them use a white and dark chocolate to give a nice yin yang look.
