Subject: Naples

Thank you so much for the info.  My daughter's only been there for 4 months, but I know she's done some exploring.  Can't wait to get there!

TripAdvisor, owned by my old employer Expedia Inc., has a great section on Naples reviews.  Worth a look:

(Sorry the first post was for Naples, Florida!)

I've been to Naples i.e., Napoli in 1986, and loved it.  Beautiful island, but be sure to stay away from all the cruiseboats when they arrive!  If you're up for it, renting a scooter/moped is a fun (but dangerous be careful!) way to see the island.

Hi,

Naples? An ISLAND? I must have missed this massive geological upheaval! Not the last time I visited (June this year), Naples is situated at the North end of the Bay of Naples on the Italian mainland.

Steve, have I misinterpreted your meaning?

Also, driving in Italy, I've been doing it annualy for the last 15 years and never had a problem. Sure, it looks chaotic but since everyone knows that everyone ignores the rules, then everyone is very alert. In 15 years I've only ever seen one accident!

Sorry, I am an idiot!  I was remembering Capri.  We visited Capri and Naples in the same weekend, and I mixed them up... disregard!  Thanks.
