This recipe is terrific! Easy, fast, delicious and inexpensive. I have made it frequently and added shrimp and chicken depending on what's in the house. Always a great turnout.

Crockpot Carnitas

Crockpot Carnitas

Easy, tasty and authentic. I cooked mine for the full 8 hours on low and the meat was juicy and tender. I used a spice rub rather than the garlic salt and it delicious. Thanks for a great recipe!

Alton Brown's Granola

Alton Brown's Granola

I have made this several times with variations in the nuts and once with honey. All have been delicious but the original is the best. Alton's overnight oatmeal is fabulous too. Good Eats!

Spicy Chicken Tortilla Soup

Spicy Chicken Tortilla Soup

This was very good! Easy, low fat and my kids loved it. I added black beans, corn and some extra tomatoes (by accident ) but it turned out delicious. A terrific do ahead option for busy working moms like me. I also toasted the tortillas instead of sauteeing them to reduce the fat content even more. Thanks beachbumette!

Tuna-noodle Casserole

Tuna-noodle Casserole

This is a great easy recipe that can be altered easily for variety if you stick to the fundamentals. Simple béchamel base, noodles, protein and the sky is the limit. The recipe as it stands is great and my kids love it.
