French Fritter ToastWOW!!! This kicks the butt of both pancakes and traditional French toast. I used my own 'homemade' whole wheat Bisquick mix and whole wheat bread. Perfectly browned and slightly crisp on the outside, perfectly moist on the inside... An amazing breakfast/brunch!!

Crispy Turnip Fries - BakedThese are amazing, will definitely make again! I also used potatoes, sweet potatoes, and parsnips to make a beautiful mix--highly recommended!

Paula Deen's Pumpkin Gooey Butter CakesIt's amazing how simple this is and how delectable it turns out!! It's the perfect balance between pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake.

Splenda Brown Sugar Apple CrispMy new favorite apple crumble recipe!! Splenda brown sugar blend has such a nice rich flavor.

Best Low Carb ColeslawI've never been a big coleslaw person, but I think this dressing is changing my mind!! According to my personal tastes I cut down the Splenda and boosted the vinegar, substituted low-fat sour cream and a bit of skim milk for the cream, and added a touch of deli mustard. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

Low-Fat Turkey LoafMmmmm--moist, tender, and full of flavor!! I used steel-cut oats instead of bread crumbs and it turned out perfect. I gave it an extra 5-10 min to make sure it was cooked through.

Peach Blueberry CrispYum! I didn't know canned peaches could taste so good. I added pecans as well. My husband and I basically ate the whole pan for dinner, haha!

Fudge Thumbprint CookiesVery tasty! Even more chocolatey than I expected, and the raspberry jam is perfect.

|
Great American Potato SaladA very reliable classic recipe! I don't tend to have relish around so I just chop up some dill pickles as well as adding a splash of pickle juice, gives it a great tangy flavour!

|
Instant Potato LefseEasy and turned out great!! They look like store-bought flour tortillas but taste much better, especially warm off the stove. I used onion salt and the flavour was very nice.

Creamy Banana Chocolate SmoothieSuper easy and tasty!!!

Pineapple-Graham Cracker BarsWow, I couldn't believe how delicious these were!! And so easy. I doubled the recipe and baked in a 9x13 pan for 45 min, and they were perfect. The texture is dense, making them easy to cut, but moist and soft from the pienapple. The Graham cracker and brown sugar give them a very rich flavour, and they have jus the right sweetness!

|
Oven Fried Cajun PotatoesI added extra salt and seasonings and still found they came out bland. The potatoes were nice and tender inside, but the cornmeal coating was uncomfortably dry and rough.

|
Cookies 'n' Cream CupcakesVery yummy!! I also used half butter and half cream cheese for the frosting and it was fantastic.

|
Oatmeal Toffee CookiesMmmm, these are to die for!!! I will never look at an oatmeal cookie the same way again. And they are so easy! I will definitely make these again and again.

|
Katie's Low Fat, Whole Wheat Granola BarsI found these came out unpleasantly heavy; the texture is more like a really dense oatmeal cake than a granola bar. And, while they certainly are healthy, the flavour suffers more than I would like.
