Billy Boys' Tasty DrumsticksI made this recipe tonight and it was GREAT. I didn't have a can of diced tomatoes, so I used a can of Italian style stewed tomatoes, with all the juice. When I used the tongs to pull the chicken out of the pressure cooker, it was difficult to grab them without the meat just falling off the bones! I also basted a little bit of BBQ sauce over one side of the drumsticks before putting them in the oven. The sauce was very good, very sweet, and perfect over a bed of white rice. It would make a terrific soup if thickened a little. WOW. I don't cook often, but recipes like this make me look like I know what I'm doing. Thanks! BTW, next time I think I'll spice it up with jalapenos!

Charcoal Dog BiscuitsMy sister and I made these today. We didn't find brown rice flour in our grocery store, so I bought long grain brown rice and blended it into flour using my VitaMix high powered blender. I also blended the fresh parsley & mint instead of chopping it - so mine was liquified (used the milk to help blend it). We had to add a lot more flour to get it thickened to the right consistency - I want to say we doubled the flour. We scooped the flour using a 1/2 tbsp and pushed it down a bit with a fork. We got 82 biscuits and my dog loves them. I'll try to update this to report if his breath improves!! That's what I was most curious about!

Buttermilk BiscuitsMy sister and I made these together tonight. We followed the recipe exactly, except for the lard - we replaced that with an equal amount of additional butter. We doubled the recipe when we saw it yielded only 6 biscuits, and these were GREAT. Keeping this recipe handy for sure.

Cracked Wheat BreadWow, this bread is fantastic! I haven't made many breads before, but this is hand-down THE BEST I've ever made, or eaten, come to think of it.

Basic Fried RiceI made this last night, but used finely chopped broccoli instead of carrots. I also used about 1.75 cups of extra lean turkey ham. On the last step, when everything was blended, I added roughly 2 tbsp margarine (Smart Balance). This meal was a major hit with my family, and even the neighbor who came over just after dinner. I'm keeping this recipe handy!
