FYI, this recipe does NOT take 30 mins baking time. I hope that was a typo. If you increase the covered baking time to ~60-70 mins, it's better. Overall the flavor was only okay, but having the wrong baking time completely screwed up my pot-luck. Following the directions gives you RAW, but warm potatoes...

In reference to your comment about the au gratin potatoes recipe. The ingredients say use cooked potatoes. They wouldn't be raw if you had used cooked potatoes.
