Really good, really easy, can easily be used with any meat. (We used steamed fish cake.) My husband and I both liked, along with my 5 year old and 2 year old. What could be better than that?

Lamb with Potatoes and Peas (Kheema)

Absolutely delicious, and so easy! I used a can of diced tomatoes and it was great. Will definitely add this to our standard repertoire.

Salmon Loaf

Really good! I used about a cup of onion and a whole green pepper, and used crushed saltines instead of breadcrumbs. I will definitely use this recipe again.

No Fail Pie Crust

No Fail Pie Crust

Really easy to make, really easy to work with. Tastes great, too. Flaky and basic. This recipe made 3 1 crust pies, for me.

Fantastic! I served it with cheese enchiladas verde. Perfect combination.

Dunkley's Famous Macaroni Salad

Dunkley's Famous Macaroni Salad

Definitely the best macaroni salad I've ever had. I didn't add quite as much mayo as the recipe calls for because I don't like it quite as creamy. Don't plan on going to a meeting right after eating it though -- spicy onion/garlic breath!

Mom's No Bake Cookies

Really good, but really sugary. I only used 3/4 of what was called for. Next time I will only use 1/2.

Beef Stroganoff- Unbelievably easy! (Kid-Friendly, Alcohol-Free)

Beef Stroganoff- Unbelievably easy! (Kid-Friendly, Alcohol-Free)

Good and easy! I made it with hamburger because it's what I had. The recipe leaves out when to add the bouillon, so I forgot to add it and it still tasted good. A little bland, but just fine with a bit of salt and pepper. Happily eaten by 1 year old, 4 year old and husband.

Cherry Chip cake mix with white chocolate chips and slivered almonds. Yum! A quick and easy recipe that kids can help with.

Arroz Con Pollo [Rice with Chicken]

Arroz Con Pollo [Rice with Chicken]

This was great. We didn't think it was at all too spicy. I thought it was just right, and my spice-loving husband liked it but had to add some hot sauce. We used fresh tomatoes and corn from the garden and it was terrific.

Steve's Fish Tacos

Fantastic! I added lots of cumin and coriander and put Jalapeno Tabasco on top. This will now be a new staple recipe in our house.

Crazy Healthy Cinnamon Banana Pancakes

Crazy Healthy Cinnamon Banana Pancakes

These are great. Very sticky batter and very brown color, but fantastic taste. Even my relatively picky 3 year old loved them! And, low glycemic index so said 3 year old wasn't bouncing off the walls.

Shepherd's Pie (gordon Ramsey's)

Shepherd's Pie (gordon Ramsey's)

Delicious! I used catsup instead of tomato paste, and frozen peas and carrots instead of the grated carrot, and it was still terrific. I also used beef broth. I was worried it would be too rich, but it turned out great. I think it is important to really reduce down the meat and wine untill it really is almost gone. Otherwise, it will have too much liquid and not thicken up nicely.

rhubarb cake

rhubarb cake

Great recipe! I substituted 1/4 cup of whole wheat flour for part of the white flour, and reduced the sugar by 1/4 cup. Texture, even with whole wheat was light and fluffy, but not falling apart. The same recipe could easily be used with any fruit. I'll definitely make this again.

Moroccan Lamb Shanks

Moroccan Lamb Shanks

This is great, and so easy. I didn't have Middle Eastern seasoning, so I made it up with cumin, cinnamon, coriander, thyme, and red pepper. I don't know how accurate that mix was, but it tasted great!

Southern Corn Pudding

Southern Corn Pudding

This was very good. Not a hit with my cornbread-loving 3 year old though. I think it was the prominence of the corn. I loved that, though. My only disappointment was that I thought it would be a little more puddingy and a little less bready. But, it was still really tasty!

Grilled Lamb Chops "Scotta Dita"

I just broiled these in the oven for about 7 minutes per side. Tasty and juicy.

Thanks so much for trying my recipe! You're right! I totally forgot to write when to add the boullion. Since you left out the boullion, that would account for the blandness. Should you try making this again, add the boullion into the water. It should disintegrate into the water with some stirring before you add it to the skillet. Once again, thanks for trying my recipe! I'm glad your family liked it!
