I'm a hospital secretary to cooks to relax (but I don't like to clean-up after myself!) and I moonlight as a sous-chef with a catering company 12-16 times a year. My youngest brother and his wife and I all enjoy cooking and trying new technics and recipes. I tend to try more of the "updated comfort foods" and foods with an Asian-fusion or East Indian flare, while my brother and his wife like the more exotic or upscale recipes. We share our recipes and tips with each other as often as we speak, sometimes calling each other up just to share a new food discovery.
