Steve's Turkey Burgers

Steve's Turkey Burgers

These are amazing. I used ground chicken instead of turkey. Everyone that has tried these has asked where I found the recipe and they rave about them. Absolutely delicious. I kept a couple in the freezer and grilled them 2 weeks later and they were just as good.

Angel Hair with Shrimp & Lemon Cream Sauce

Angel Hair with Shrimp & Lemon Cream Sauce

Sauce does not thicken enough for my preferences. If I make it again I will add the parm toward the end of the cream and shrimp cooking as a thickener. Then pour over the pasta, similar to making an Alfredo. The lemon was a nice addition.

Perfect Apple Pie

Perfect Apple Pie

Not too sweet but allows the flavor of the apples to come out. When preparing in the pan I really thought that there was going to be too much liquid. Even when it was put in the crust I did not have much faith. I was completely wrong. This pie cooked up beautifully and tastes great. I will make it again.

So few ingredients but great flavor and texture. I made them with my neise and nephew and they turned out wonderfully and the kids loved making them. Great recipe.

Mushroom Risotto

Mushroom Risotto

Very nice and basic side dish that can be made as a vegetarian option by substituting vegetable stock. Really Vince with fish or chicken and is substantial enough to be served as a main dish.

Rat City Chili (Vegan)

Rat City Chili (Vegan)

You could fool almost any meat eater with this recipe. Nice and thick and the veggie crumbles give a substantial feel to it. I reduced the Cayenne Pepper by half due to personal taste preferences but still a spicy dish for a cold, snowy Michigan day.

Spaghetti Carbonara

Spaghetti Carbonara

Will make again but next time I will add an additional egg yoke. I would have liked a little more richness that the additional yoke would provide

The gnocchi was perfect. Great texture and cooked up light and flavorful. The key is to use the right potatoes.
