Want to try. Looks great! The onions and butter really cook for an hour and a half before adding the broth? Seems so long like it wud turn to mush.

Hi Binty69, yes, the time is correct, but you must have the heat on the ABSOLUTE lowest setting and burner size you can get. You don't want them sauteeing -- you want them "sweating", not super-hot at all.
