What's for dinner?
I am married to a great guy and we recently celebrated our 40th anniversary.  Who says' it can't last..and of course I was a "child" bride......LOL  How we managed all those years is another story for another time.  We have two wonderful children, two great daughters-in-law and four marvelous grand-children.  I grew up in Rhode Island in a mill city and for many, many years French was the only language spoken by everyone.  I can appreciate being bilingual and many of the great French-Canadian recipes from my family.  I look forward to sharing with the community.  We moved to S. Florida 24 years ago and I became an outside of the house working woman.  Banking, training, public speaking were in my job description for 20 years.  Now retired I love to cook, crochet, enjoy every moment I can with my grand-children, and enjoy the time to stop and smell the roses with my DH.  Last but not least, my little Candy-Girl was rescued about two years ago and she has brought so much joy and love to our family.  She is a Boston Terrier, aka Boston Bull.  She is the cutie in the photo.

This catagory is difficult for me to condense.  So, I will tell you what I do not like, liver and crawfish.  I tried all types of recipes, even authentic crawfish etouffee in New Orleans.....sorry, no can do.  Everything else is fair game!

Speaking of favorites, when I post a recipe, in my opinion it is worth 5 stars.  But, modesty and knowing not everyone has the same taste, I rate them 4 stars. I will let the community give their objective opinions.

Pizza Dough

Pizza Dough

This is the best home made pizza EVER. I used my breadmachine to knead the dough a few times. I paused the machine, took out the dough placed it in a well oiled bowl in order to rise. Once that was done, I cut the dough in half and wrapped them separately with saran wrap. Put in the fridge for about 30 minutes. While waiting I prepared all my toppings. I baked it at 425 checking in on it every 10 minutes. Gosh, was it good!! Thank you for sharing your great recipe. Oh, and my family says a big thank you too...:) Gloria J Bisson

Chicken Pot Pie

Chicken Pot Pie

This recipe is amazing. The quantities are guidelines on how much you want to use. I added more turkey (made it a turkey pie) and whatever vegetables I had. I also used the Pillsbury refrigerated pie crusts and a deep dish pie plate. 8 servings from a large, deep dish pie plate are very generous. Would get more with halved pieces. ANNES' BLUE CHEESE SALAD DRESSING

ANNES' BLUE CHEESE SALAD DRESSING

Using low calorie ingredients affects the taste and flavor of this dressing. My only exception is for sugar, I use Splenda and found no difference in the flavor.
