My wife and I love to work together in the kitchen to prepare a delicious meal. We enjoy experimenting with ingredients and recipes. We have used our wood chip cabinet smoker several times over the summer with great success!

Baked French ToastI made this recipe on Christmas Eve for Christmas morning. As it baked I was happy to watch it puff up to fill the pan. My husband and I plus our eight guests for brunch all loved it. With all the fat and calories that must be in this recipe I'm going to save it for special occasions when it's ok to misbehave!

Thai Spicy BeefThis recipe is very tasty; I thought it was missing the peanut flavour I love about thai food. I also don't know what I'm going to do with almost a full can of coconut milk and bamboo shoots plus a lime with no zest on it. If you use this stuff a lot I'm sure it won't be a problem for you; but I just bought the milk and shoots for this recipe and am really not too sure what else to make with them and hate to just throw them out.

Charcoal Dog BiscuitsAfter shopping around for a charcoal dog biscuit at pet stores that are wheat free and coming up empty handed I researched several recipes on the internet and then varied the ingredients suit my dogs sensitive tummy. When I made these today it was very easy...the hardest part was chopping the parsley and mint. I'm hoping they will have the desired effect for my boxer Higgins!

Cauliflower Ham & Cheese BakeLove the flavour combination of the cheese, ham and cauliflower!

Super Sweet Corn BreadI made this today. I baked it for 15 min. and it was done when tested with a toothpick. When I tried a piece the cornmeal was not cooked and gave the the bread an unpleasant gritty texture.

Banana BreadChopped up chocolate Easter bunny and used it in the bread today instead of nuts...so yummy and a good way to use up all the chocolate left here by the Easter Bunny!
