If it weren't for Rachel Ray, I would still burn water! No, seriously, I was boiling water and melted the pot to the eye of the stove. Apparently there's no "auto off" on stove's. That was a long time ago, I'm better now. Thanks Rach!
Beef Rollups are the best in the world. Pork Roast is yummy. Corn is the greatest vegetable ever created!
I almost didn't do the recipe because I like fast and easy. Well, the only time consuming part is..., waiting. I'm glad I tried it, my son gobbled up the sprouts. If I had cooked them longer, they would have been more tender, note to self. But this recipe is a must try! I didn't put the cheese or balsamic vinegar on them, I'll try that next. They even reheat well. We've eaten them for 3 nights, sadly, they are gone. I'll just have to make some more!!! YUMMY!
Cutting the veggies into smaller chunks helps it cook faster
by adding the cheese after the mash has cooled a tiny bit, you get some cheesey, stringy chunks, a nice surprise for the young ones!
[I posted this recipe.]
WOW! That is one fantastic recipe. I have never made red cabbage before. All the other times I can remember eating it, it was blah. This recipe is fantastic. The flavor is wonderful. It's sweet, but then you get this great tangy zing to finish off the taste. I will definately be making this again!!!
