I was born and raised on a large cattle ranch in Mexico.  I grew up with eating the freshest vegetables and fruits picked daily from our garden and orchard.  I was always hanging around the kitchen with our cooks, learning from the best!  My mother could cook anything and everything.  I was constantly in her way when she was in the kitchen.  At an early age, I loved food, and learned to cook just about everything.   Over the past 30 years, I have learned to cook dishes from all around the world.  I worked on a working vacation ranch in Colorado where I cooked for all the guests and took on all the chuck wagon cooking events. 
I have 4 grown children, and when they visit me, our time is spent in my kitchen while I cook their favorite meals, and test new recipes. 
Apart from my children, I have two female labs, a chocolate, Tiger Lily & a black, Raven, two cats, Moose & Bella (liter mates) and a Canary.  I love to garden, swim, walk, being out doors doing anything!  A good book with a cup of tea, or dessert with a cup of coffee in front of a fire is a favorite.  I love being around people, and enjoy my alone time.  There's always something going on at my home, laughter usually echoing through.  Hiking, sewing, horseback riding, camping out, shopping at unique boutiques and antique are among a few of my favorite things to do.  I don't watch much tv, maybe a movie once in a while.  I love all music, except rap & hard rock.  Music is usually flowing through out the house.  oh yea...i love my naps!!
